You may have seen the news piece from Catholic News Service over the weekend. If not, here you go. I was interviewed a few weeks ago.

Here are a few photos taken at the Orlando Liturgical Conference. It was amazing to watch people touch the actual Roman Missal, Third Edition. They commented on how beautiful it was, how the print was so large and readable, how the art work from the Vatican Apostolic Library was so beautiful, etc. They also commented on how large the book is and how much notated chant is inside. I was so proud of our WLP team.
More about my experience in Orlando in tomorrow's post.
Gotta sing. Gotta pray.

Thank you for sharing! The article provides great clarity for understanding the New Roman Missal usage of "chant". It's great armor to bear in the onslaught of "hymnody vs. chant" battles which are beginning to escalate. Knowledge and understanding are truly great friends in times of turmoil.
Nice article! Can you imagine that we had a person in our parish who would always protest because we would sing the Responsorial Psalm or we would sing most of the hymns for the Mass Settings, including the Gloria.
Thanks for posting the article. I am really thankful that the use of hymns is remaining through the new translation.
